Principal Message
As 2024 draws to a close, we reflect on an exciting and productive year filled with remarkable achievements across academics, arts, and sports. It has been a time of growth, celebration, and community spirit, showcasing the talents and dedication of our students, staff, and families.
This term has seen excellence celebrated through the Junior and Senior Awards evenings. Both events showcased the talents of our students and were well supported by staff, family and community.
I experienced my first Cultural Unity Night this term, what an amazing experience! We have such a unique way to build a sense of belonging for all cultures that is the envy of other schools.
This year has also seen significant refurbishments and building projects come to a conclusion. We will start 2025 with a state-of-the-art Health Leaning Centre that will provide students with real life experience with working in a hospital ward, childcare centre and exercise physiology lab. This will complete the already wide range of training opportunities for students in these employment fields. Our goal is to further enhance our partnerships with employers such as Queensland Health to build pathways to traineeships and apprenticeships.
I regularly remind our students of how fortunate they are to have such cutting-edge learning environments and dedicated staff to help them achieve their potential. The partnership between the school and families is an important and powerful contributor to student success.
We wish all our students, staff, and families a restful and enjoyable break. Let's return refreshed and ready to start 2025 on a high note!
Student Resource Scheme 2025
In exciting news for families, Mr Sodhi announced on 22nd November via Facebook that the school has decided to lower the cost of the Student Resource Fee for the upcoming year. This decision reflects the school's commitment to making education more accessible and easing the financial burden on parents and caregivers.
The reduction comes as part of the school’s broader initiative to support students and their families, ensuring that everyone has the resources needed for a successful learning experience.
For more updates, visit the school’s official Facebook page or contact the administration office directly.
